Studies of Rock and Water

‘The Chinese word ‘Tao’, which means the ‘way of Nature’,  is often translated as the ‘watercourse way’ because the way of Nature is to flow, …as if like water. All of nature is patterned according to the dynamics and principles of flow. Water flows and shapes the land, even the very mountains. Water sustains and nourishes all things, all life, and yet always seeks the lowest point, the simplest path back to the sea, lording over nothing.’
