‘My study and researches into the forms of nature and the dynamics of natural light have taken me to many incredible landscapes.   The following is sampling of documentary portraits taken during travels and hikes into wilderness regions, nature preserves and National Parks throughout North America.  These special places have served as great ‘classrooms’ of discovery and artistic development.  For me, there is no greater teacher than the Natural world for the study of light, color, form, movement, geometry, surface, and line.’
“Welcome, O life! I go to encounter for the millionth time the reality of experience and to forge in the smithy of my soul the uncreated conscience of my race.” -(Stephen Dedalus in James Joyce’s A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man)
