Studies of Skyscapes

‘As a boy, I loved nothing more than to lie back in the grass and watch the clouds as they moved by the great expanse of the sky. I still do. I am still endlessly fascinated by the Father Sky, and those great mountain ranges of vapor and light, ephemeral as a phantom.  Some times I was scolded by the teacher for gazing out the window at the sky, but one can’t help a preoccupation with beauty and light…’
